2024 Le Puy - Cahors + Saint-Jean - León
God, Ryanair and Express Bourricot being willing, I will arrive in SJPdP on Tuesday evening 7 September.

I plan to walk for three weeks, probably ending in or close to León.

I was pleasantly surprised and relieved to be able to book easily this past weekend beds in Auberge Borda (on the way out from SJPdP), Roncesvalles and Zubiri. When I get to Zubiri I will have a better idea of the numbers of pilgrims/walkers on the road and of the need, or not, to book ahead.

I have already walked the CF twice but this time round will be very different!

Nice to find out there are now at least 4 of us I that have seen that will be on that same flight from UK heading to the Camino. I too have booked ahead and have reserved space for the first week to be sure. Will book ahead once I’m there for the rest. Am sure will get the chance to say hello.

My plan is to arrive in SJPPdP on Sat 4th (Sept) and head for the hills the morning after!!
So great to see that a few of you will be on the way also.
It's getting real close now; hope all travel plans are smooth and that you all have an incredible experience.
Buen Camino!!

I will be a few days behind you, arrive to SJPdP on the 12th. Have reservations through Estella at this point. My first time walking, so excited to start.

Safe travels and good health to all!

Looking forward to meeting you, but not on the flight - I come from Belgium.

Hi, my wife and are are first timers, also arriving in SJPP (via Stansted and Biaritz) on the 7th, to start walking on the 8th. We are booked into Auberge Borda and Roncesvalles but not yet Zubiri... like you we will be trying to gauge the need for booking ahead once we start. How will you get from Biaritz airport to SJPP, my wife and I are going to book a taxi along with one other person we met on this forum? Cheers Brian

Hey Brian. Am Still interested in this plan with you. Were you thinking of booking a car or just taking pot luck at the airport?? I see There are companies that would take bookings for this journey. Not sure if you have explored that or not. Let me know any thoughts

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Hi, I was thinking of booking, favoured option was actually Express Bourricot which operates out of SJJP and which the original poster here also mentioned. I'll fire them an email now to get the ball rolling and keep you posted. Cheers, Brian
