No - because I far prefer Ribadiso, shortly before Arzua. A lovely spot, with two albergues.

I have stayed in both the Hotel Arzua (last summer) and the Arzua Xunta Albergue de Perigrinos (last winter). Both were nice.

Hotel 1930 (not an albergue, but worth it).

I stayed in a private room (w/shared bath) at A Casa do Lajuerio. It was simple, clean, inexpensive and very comfortable — and went a long way towards improving my opinion about Arzua, which wasn't exactly my favorite town along the way.

I didn't stay in Ribadiso, but wished I had. Arzua is not a pretty town.

In the summer months, there are also volunteers at Ribadiso (Xunta albergue) from American Pilgrims on the Camino who are part of a "Welcome Service".

I volunteered at the Xunta albergue in Ribadiso and it’s a wonderful place to stay. The facilities are great and include washers, dryers, and extensive clothes lines. It’s situated next to a small river where there’s lots of room to relax alone or gather with friends. It’s rural with a relaxed country feel. There’s a restaurant next door. It’s a short distance before you reach Arzua.
