Hi the there I am a new member. I have completed a few caminos, which I loved. Now looking forward to camino 2023.

I have a new Gregory Stout 45 black back pack the has never been used. Brand new.

I thought that a pilgrim could used it in there next camino. I don't want any money for it, but if you pay the postage I will send the backpack to you.

Stephenm,
Maybe near you there is a centre who helps homeless people. To a homeless man or woman a backpack is like gold. If they have not got a backpack they have to carry all their belongings in two plastic bags. We have 4 sons and over the years 'trust' has been so appreciative to get clothes but they are loud in their gratitude for backbacks.
Note to all other pilgrims: do not let unused backpacks take up space in your home when it could be a good friend to someone else.

You may well already know this but if you click on the other parties username you will see the option to ‘start conversation’ that is (allegedly) only visible to the participants - it’s certainly not public. Useful for exchanging addresses etc.

I don't think it's totally secure!
What makes you think that it's not secure?
I'm sure that anything can be hacked, but I can tell you that moderators have no access to other member's private conversations unless they share them with us.

Only that no database is private so far as the database administrator is concerned; nothing more.

If ‘conversations’ were in any way monitored I would have been excommunicated long ago.
