Backpack at Sangrada Familia

Anybody left their backpack at luggage room at Sangrada Familia?

Traveling through Barcelona just to see Gaudi's masterpiece. With my schedule it would be easier to have my mochilla with me during my tour but if the luggage room is problematic I guess I could leave it at the hostal and retrieve it in my way to Renfe.

Thanks for any input.

Just went here Friday. I see no need in paying to go inside. Just walk around it. There is much construction on/around it. Not much to see inside. I actually much prefer his building in Astorga.

If you go inside, you will see that it is quite different from the Bishop's Palace at Astorga. One is a cathedral, the other a residence. It is quite spectacular, though the construction netting interferes with getting good views of the outside.

Went inside…still like Astorga work much better.
Actually not a cathedral but a basilica.

I can't tell whether this msg is for past or yet to come

I left my backpack at my hotel as we were there for a few days in 2012. I revisited BCN again a month ago
The mochilla hold at the sagrada familia would be safe.

I couldn't imagine going to BCN and not going thru it. It is a masterpiece still in progress. Don't miss it
Also look at some of the gaudi buildings in centre.
Gaudi is BArcelona in my opinion.
