Since this question comes up quite often I thought that I'd compile a list of companies providing bag transport on the Camino. Some only cover Spain, while others operate in Portugal. Check the company's website to find out if they service the route that you want to walk.

Correos

Jacotrans

Caminofacíl

Pilbeo

Tuitrans

Top Santiago - Portugal

Please feel free to reply to this thread and add other companies, preferably with their website or contact info. If it's a company that only services one route like the Camino del Salvador or Invierno, please note that.

Before you ask about a particular route please check the links provided in this post first to see if it is covered by one of these companies.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
On the Camino Invierno, Manuel Mar of Casa Mar in Sobradelo, covers the whole route, Ponferrada to Santiago at €6 per bag/stage. Contact (in Spanish) via WhatsApp on +34 639 24 19 39 the day before.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I am looking at looking at Pilbeo and Jaco. Do you have to be staying at one of the places listed for them to pick up your bag?

I've been looking at the best transfer service for the Portuguese. When I look at the site it appears they want me to sign up for the entire trip, which seems to differ from the Francis where we decided on a day to day basis. Can someone provide some insight.

Also, I sent several questions to Tuitrans, who failed to respond. (like what their charge is). What is the best rated transfer service for this route? Top Santiago?

Any input is appreciated.

Top Santiago worked well on several occasions for our grop on the Portuguese. On 1 occasion we just had a few bags delivered by Uber

I’ve been using these guys aling the Camino Frances for the last few days since I got sick and they’ve been really fantastic!

I contact them in the evening to make a reservation and they are always quick to respond.

Just as a followup, I used TaXiCamino on the Primitivo all the way to...Boente, I think. They did one internal handoff after Lugo. Then they handed me off successfully to Javier Manuel, who used Jacotrans envelopes.

Can't say enough good things about TaXiCamino. Exceptionally responsive on WhatsApp, even with my bad Spanish. I would usually contact them between 1600-1800 for the next day, and they'd get back to me within 10 minutes.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Gerald Kelly’s guide to the Via de la Plata -
http://www.viadelaplataguide.net/ has a FAQ section which gives the following information for a new service on the Sanabrés :

“In 2023 a private company began offering a luggage transfer service on the Camino Sanabrés (from Granja de Moreruela to Santiago). Prices vary depending on distances. They can be contacted at servicioscaminosanabres@gmail.com or call or WhatsApp +34 674 56 98 70.”

I have contacted them by email - they replied immediately - they need a precise itinerary including dates and places of accommodation before giving me an idea of price. The service commences from Salamanca.

If anyone else has used them I would be interested to hear how it worked for them.

On the Salvador there are a couple of taxi services that service the route. They are not cheap but reasonable - pretty much standard taxi rates. Great service.

Juan Morales - Léon to Pajares + 34 630 990 179

and Joaquin Moran ( a very pleasant person) from Pajares to Oviedo +34 619 146 726.
