Hi, my wife and I will be hiking the C/P this September and I wondering if some previous pilgrims could share their favorite Albergues with us. In particular, those with private rooms and communal dinners. We hiked the C/F in '22 and our fondest memories were the visiting around the dinner table after a long stroll! Thanks!!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

They have a domitory and 2 separate private rooms, AFAIK.
Reserve early!

Labruge? There is a public albergue and a couple of guest houses. I stayed at Casa da Praia one year.

Before you get to Labruge you pass Praia de Angeiras where there is a big camping place that has individual "bungalows" for pilgrims. If you want the pilgrim rate you can't reserve ahead.

I have a booking to stay at Casa da Praia and looks a decent place to stay after my first days walk. I'm looking for somewhere to stay around Labruja, in between Ponte de Lima and Rubiaes.
Thanks for the input Trecile.

Sorry, I forgot that there was also a place called Labruja!

I imagine that you have already seen the listings on Gronze.

Quinta Labruja has outstanding reviews on booking.com.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
This place does get rave reviews. Looks like I got the last available room ! Thanks

I consider my first stop to be in Santa Luzia: Quinta da Fosca. I sent an email and I sent a WhatsApp to their phonenbrs (found on Gronze app). No reaction so far. I don’t speak Portuguese, so...
Customer service shout out! They found my wedding band left behind in their bathroom, called/messaged me within hours of my departure, and returned it to me in person in Pontevedra this evening...
