Walked St Jean to Logrono and plan to continue from there
Hello everyone,

I am planning to arrive in Biarritz at the end of April and I am wondering the best way to get from there to Logrono to continue with my camino. I am having a lot of trouble finding information on this, I am not very good with the internet, any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks for your help!

Linda

Look at http://www.Pesa.net there are 2 buses every day except Sunday from the Biarritz Maire/Tourist Office to San Sebastian arriving there around 14h. The bus from San Sebastian to Longrono leaves from the same terminus, that bus service is called Alavesa at any rate I made the connection last year with no problem at all. The only problem is you arrive in Logrono after 5 and finding a hostel with a free bed that time of day can be a challenge. There is regularly scheduled public bus service for one euro from the Biarritz and Bayonne train stations and the BAB airport to the Mairie. You buy the ticket on the Pesa bus from the driver but you need to walk around the corner from the bus stop in San Sebastain to buy your ticket. My notes show I paid 24 Euros for the trip. Buen Camino.

Correction, the bus service from San Sebastian to Logrono is named la Estellesa. Their website is very hard to navigate but you will eventually discover the time table. PS the ticket office is on the righthand street across from the hotel and station about 2 or 3 doors down the street.

Thank you very much, Jeff, Margaret and Don for your helpful and informative replies. it is much appreciated.
