Biarritz to Pamplona

We are returning for the third time, but this time to to walk a bit longer and stay in the albergues to increase the camino experience.
What is the best way to get from Biarritz to Pamplona please and how long will it take. Thank you for all your past help.

Travel time Biarritz Airport to Pamplona depends on transport options available.

The bus from BIQ to Pamplona takes 2 hours 5 minutes but at time of writing there is but one per day.

Otherwise it will take an hour from Biarritz airport to Hendaye, an hour from Hendaye to San Sebastian and an hour and a half from San Sebastian to Pamplona. Plus wait times.

The bus to Pamplona leaves from San Sebastian bus station. The bus station in San Sebastian is located outdoors at Plaza Pio XII beside Hotel Amara Plaza about 700 meters south from Amara station or across the river from the Renfe Station.

You could also take euskatren (like 2 euros, 20 minutes) to Hendaye or Irun, and then get a Renfe train to Iruna/Pamplona
