Bike transport Biarritz to SJP? Lodging?

I am flying into Biarritz with my boxed bike in the evening. I plan on spending the night in Biarritz & going to SJP the next morning & then assembling it there.
2 questions: Hotel recommendation very close to airport in BIQ & shuttle tips to get to SJP with boxed bike? Thanks

With your bike in a box ... take a taxi to Gare Bayonne. Take SNCF train from Gare Bayonne to SJPdP.

It is suggested you take your accomodations in Bayonne close to the train station. The first train leaves 0745.

No need for bikes to be boxed on the TER train from Bayonne to SJPdP, it also accepts non-boxed bikes but you must place them on the train directly.
