What bugs might we encounter in September/October on the Camino?
Do we need to bother carrying mosquito repellant or other such things?

hi there. not much to worry about bug-wise, other than bed bugs and little flying gnats in a few stretches.

don't get paranoid but a bed sheet to keep a layer between you and the mattresses might be a good idea. a whole batch of us got bed bugs in Roncesvalles last year, but they do try and keep it clean.
