Bus from Arzua to Finisterre

Hello all! I'm currently lodged in Ribadiso after starting in Leon - I'm hoping to hop a bus from Arzua tomorrow and make my way to Finisterre (I understand the reqs regarding the last 100km, etc - I'm really ok with that and would love to find a couple of trails for my last two days out by the ocean).

I can't seem to find information on the bus station or a bus schedule for Arzua - any veterans here with info on how best to make this trip? Where the station might be? Schedules? I would be forever indebted - and happy to look up any links you might be able to forward my way if that's easier - gracias!

Go to rome2rio.com and enter Arzua, Spain and Santiago de Compostela, Spain to get a bus schedule. From Santiago I recommend going to Muxia and then walking to Finesterre from there. It can be done in a day (or two if you stop in Liraes.) I recommend this way as there is more frequent bus service to get back to SdC from Finesterre then from Muxia.

But then you would miss the fabulous walk into Finisterre along the beach. I have walked to Finisterre from both directions. The exultation of walking those last two kms along the shoreline can't be beaten imho. You could get the bus to Cee and walk into Finisterre from there and then continue to Muxia.

Empresa Freire provides bus service from Arzua to Santiago bus station. Arzua bus stop (no bus station) is almost in front of (just east) Albergue los Caminantes Arzua and just west of the City Hall. See the map under 'Rutas y Paradas'.

Monbus operates buses from Santiago bus station to Fisterra. Bus stop in Fisterra is located beside the municipal Albergue and the center plaza.

That's true. I guess I was just being too practical.

Can you give more info @Thornley? I hope to walk to the coast again next year and would be interested to know of another route.
