I’m sure I’ve seen the answer in the affirmative to this question somewhere ,and saved it , but can’t find it now.
Does anyone know if there is a bus from Zamora to Granja de Moreruela or must one bus to Pozuela de Tábara and then get a taxi?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

I have written in my notes that there is a Vivas bus from Zamora to Benavente, that goes through Granja, but I can't find it now on the Vivas website. It is often hard to find the schedules for those local buses, which also may not run every day.

Thank you C clearly - I think Alsa operate that route but, although it passes through Granja de Moreruela, it seems to be a direct (non stop) between Zamora and Benavente.

Here are the bus routes. I don't see a stop at Granja, but there is a stop at Montamarta.

Yes, there's smaller local bus from Zamora that will drop you off in Granja. I don't have a schedule (or bus number or line ; ) but simply asked at the main station and they pointed out the correct bus.

Thank you for this, the Pozuela bus would be closer , but Quietways reply below seems positive.

Empresa Vivas bus operate daily from Zamora bus station to Granja de la Moreruela. You will need to get one of the services marked P, which stop in most of the villages (pueblos), and not one marked D for Directo. Vivas buses are light yellow. Tickets from Vivas office upstairs in Zamora bus station. The office will open 30 minutes before each bus leaves. Seeing these buses go past when I was a few months as hospi at the albergue in Fontanillas de Castro was the highlight of my day once pilgrims had set off.

i caught a bus from Zamora to Granja in 2019. It was about an hour late in arriving in Zamora but it eventually arrived. I pre-booked the ticket on-line in advance but I cannot remember the bus line.

My update on this thread -

I travelled by bus from Zamora to Granja de Moreruela yesterday 21 March at 2.00 pm. .
Initially I tried to buy the ticket from Vivas as per the information in earlier replies. It seems that they no longer offer that service - but after being persistently annoying to the ticket seller at that window he pointed to the autobuses Castaño window (which is not staffed) .
Anyway I eventually managed to work out that if I went downstairs to platform 21 The Castaño Santiago bus from there goes to Granja and I bought a ticket from the driver.
P.S.It was a very warm walk from Granja to Tábara today.
