Hi Everyone!

I've been on a bit of a push lately to put together some videos of the walks I've done, and the latest one is the Camino Frances (one more to go: Camino Portuguese!)

This is a short 4.5 minute video of the Camino Frances, from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela, then onto Finisterre & Muxia (from May/June 2013). Hopefully it will give you an idea of the trail, the albergues, the food and scenery you'll see along the way...

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Lovely, Kat.

I followed your blog along the Primitivo and have enjoyed all your videos - you have a way with words and pictures! thank you

buen camino

Fantastic, thanks for posting. We've only got 2 weeks around next June and are pondering our first (partial) Camino. Was it very much busier from Sarria to SJDC than the other sections?

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Super photos Kat. I thoroughly enjoyed your blog too :).

Take care, be safe,

Hi 4d3fect,

Yep it's definitely busier from Sarria but this shouldn't be seen as a terrible thing. There are a lot of accommodation options (private and albergues) along this last stretch catering to the numbers and you get to meet lots more people.

The last 100km of the Portuguese route also had an increase of pilgrims (actually from Tui) but again, I never had a problem with accommodation...

Embrace it knowing the camino will get busier from Sarria and you'll be fine :)

Buen camino!

Thanks, Kat. Fine blog you have btw, thanks for sharing. I think the greatest challenge for me will be shrinking my personal bubble; I trust the rest of the details to sort themselves out.

Thank you. It brought back all the wonderful memories as I also did the Frances in May/June 2013

Great photos!
Thanks.

Cheers.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
