Hello all!

I'm leaving St Jean Pied de Port on June 10th and wondered whether anybody else plans to be in or around St Jean at this time?

All the best,

Joe

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I'm leaving SJPDP on the 2nd of June, but if I end up getting injured throughout my journey we might just meet by chance. :D

I'm arriving into SJPdP on the 12th June, leaving there the following day.

I'm sure our paths will cross! Don't walk too quickly!

Buen Camino,

Joe

Hi Joe

Click on the 'Camino de Santiago Calendar' link at the bottom of this page, it will show you which forum members are leaving the various starting points each day.

As over 20,000 people claiming a compostela start from St. Jean that means an average of about 400 a week start there, obviously the figure rises in the summer and falls in the winter but regardless, you'll have plenty of company starting out.

Regards

Seamus

We are scheduled to leave from SJPP on June 18. It's all we can think about! It's wet and cold here in North Carolina today, but I'm going out on a long walk in a few minutes. I'm trying to get into the best shape possible.

Looking forward to meeting many of you "June 2013" pilgrims.

Buen Camino,
Susan

Hi Joe

Arriving in SJPP on Saturday the 8th of June and plan to start walking early June 9th. At this point, I'm still debating if Orrisson would be a good first night. Iim fit but would like avoid blisters on the first few days! I would also like to enjoy the view and meeting others, while getting a bit rested after overseas traveling.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I and my 20 year old niece will be starting from Pamplona on June 4 or 5. We fly into Barcelona from Phoenix on June 3 and are taking a flight connection to Pamplona the next day. We are scheduled to fly back to Barcelona from Santiago on July 4. So excited and so grateful for this forum.

Sounds great! Lots of people heading out and I wish you all the best experience possible - i'm sure some of us will cross paths soon!

Regards,

Joe
