Camino Portugues Certificate

Hi everyone. I finished the Camino Frances in November and now I am planning to walk from Porto to Santiago next year. Can anyone tell me if I receive a certificate for the Camino Portugues in Santiago? Also, can I buy a passport online before I go?

Yes you can receive one if your Credencial/Pilgrim Passport is stamped in proof that you walked the last 100 km into Santiago de Compostela.

As MSPATH says you can request a Compostela or non-religious certificate if you obtain two stamps per day for at least the last 100 km. The certificates are general and not customised by Camino. However, you can also request and pay (€3 I think) for an additional certificate of distance which will state your starting point and distance walked.

but there will be plenty available at the Cathedral in Porto.
