Time of past OR future Camino
Camino Frances (2012) (2019)
Camino Portuguese (2017)
We walked the CF in Sept/October of 2012 and are ready to try our second camino, this time the Portuguese route from Porto- Santiago-Finisterre (?). We only have 14 days, so probably only make it to Santiago. Starting May 2 - 14, 2017.
Getting excited!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I walked from Lisbon to Santiago seven months ago. Route not so well marked between Lisbon and Porto. No problem after Porto. You will love the Porto to Santiago walk. Plenty of accommodation and beautiful country.

Bom Caminho Alice and Stuart!

Beautiful people, country and great food!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Thank you so much!
We have two weeks to travel the route, which feels so short compared to the 34 days it took to walk the CF.
I hope it will still feel like pilgrimage.

... I hope it will still feel like pilgrimage.

If it feels like/is a pilgrimage doesn't depend on the km you walk, it depends on your heart and intend ;-)

My wife and I did the CF in 2014 and then our second (Camino Portugues) in August 2016. We did Barcelos to Santiago in 10 days, so you should have no problem with Porto to Santiago within two weeks. The scenery, the food, the overall experience on the Portugues was very positive. The composition of the pilgrims in August was younger, maybe due to limited vacation time, e.g. 2 weeks, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and felt accepted and appreciated by the younger folks. It was definitely as much of a pilgrimage as our 2014 CF was. Bon Camino!

Thanks Jim from Boston! Good to hear your encouraging words.
I am not far from Boston...SE CT shore area
