My husband and I will be on the Primitivo starting on May 14th. We arrive in Oviedo on the last train from Madrid on the night of the 12th. Jet lag usually hits us hard coming from Alaska so we've decided to stay in Oviedo a whole day so we can sleep in late and rest. We've scheduled 14 days just for the walk to Santiago with one rest day in Lugo to meet up with our friend.

We'll be spending another 5 or 6 days in Galicia after we finish. Just to rest and get some scuba diving in before our long journey back to the Arctic :)

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

We've set our dates in stone now. Tickets are purchase and post Camino apartment rental is booked. My husband and I will be on the Primitivo starting on May 14th. Jet lag usually hits us hard coming from Alaska so we've decided to stay in Oviedo a whole day so we can sleep in late and rest. We've scheduled 15 days just for the walk to Santiago in order to give ourselves time if we decide to spend an extra night or 3 along the way.

where do you usually stay post camino?? Thought a few days at the seaside might be nice before flying home

@Tp3660 Sorry, I just saw your question. This is my first time going to Spain for the purpose of hiking the Camino. In the past I've stay in Southern Spain. I just research the different areas that interest me and then look on AirBnB and Homeaway for apartments or houses that I like and meet my criteria. This time I booked the location in Galicia based on an area that I liked, the availability of scuba diving, and ease of access to drive around the rest of the coast.
