Camino Vezelay to SJPP on Bike

Hi all, Well it`s very much a last minute arrangement . Last year I did Camino Frances to Fistere, now please God I can continue backwards This yeas in two week from Vezelay and next year from Haarlem to Vezelay.
Firstly unsure of best camino I was thinking of first day Sermizelles to Clamecy as accommodation in Vezelay is so expensive. and then continue on that route. Seems to be shortest on Google map, but is it the best?. From there I hope to cover about 100Kms. each day.
I am shocked at the prices of hotels any information regarding Albergues or Hostels would be much appreciated.
