Time of past OR future Camino
Plan to walk August or September 2017
So after much deliberation I have decided to take the advice that I've been given (+ being told about and researching the weather for this time of the year) and am going to walk the Camino Frances. I will be in St Jean Pied du Port on the 5th Sept and spending an extra night there as I don't get in till late therefore my walk will start on the 7th. I'm excited to be doing this walk and looking forward to the challenges that this way will present. I will do the VDLP at another time....when it's cooler at least.

Enjoy your Camino! And might be wise to make a booking at St Jean Pied de Port - for at least your first night.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
And maybe also book at roncesvalles (i got there and couldnt find a bed 1 week ago) or even better think of breaking the first day into two and staying at orrison

Thank you. I managed to get a room at Kayola as Orisson was booked out 2 weeks ago. Am going to try Roncesvalles today.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
