I tried this phone number for Casa Fernanda on WhatsApp +351914589521 and got the notice that number is not on WhatsApp. Is there a different number for her WhatsApp? I needto makea reservation for the beginning of May.

I remember calling Fernanda directly at that number. As it was a very brief call, the charge was not significant considering that we now had a reservation which you do want to have. In addition to the dorm room, she also has one double room with a private bath which we stayed in. Staying at Fernanda’s and enjoying her hospitality was one of the highlights of our CP.

Fernanda has no smartphone .
her husband has whatsapp but I am not free to publish his phonenumber
but you can send me a conversion with your name , name of the country you are from and what date you will be there and eventually how many beds you need.
Then I will be in contact withJacinto, Ferdanda’s husband and let you know after I had contact with them.

Fernanda has an old fashioned telephone just for calling not an advanced smartphone

Fernanda has a gardenhouse with 10 beds , a dubble room and a triple bed room in the same gardenhouse , a veranda where you can sleep in the open air ( some prefere this) and two bedrooms in the house , one with a double bed and one with two single beds and a shared bathroom.

I have made my reservations for my husband and myself, Thursday May 5. I did not know the bed arrangement and did not ask. I hope they give us a double room! Thanks everyone for your advice.

You are correct he did say that he would help. Probably best to send him a private conversation so that you he can confirm the details with you.

Fernanda and Jacinto are friends of us and because for many years now I am on this forum and lots of members know me , I help them and the family
.When I am in their house I always answer the phonecalls from German speaking people because Fernanda does not speak German.

Does anyone know if you can send backpack ahead from Pedra Ferada to Fernanda's? I have a long walk that day and wanting to use the transfer service. I emailed her but haven't heard back. We already have two beds reserved with her.

I know she worked with transferservices when I worked there as hospitaleiro. I remember I handed over backpacks to Tuitrans but Fernanda told me there was another one she prefered to work with.
