Hi !
First I would like to thank all the participants in this forum. The numerous messages and replays here have been of great help while planning my camino.
Still, to try to calm the butterflies, eagles and wild geese in my stomach, I have some questions. (Please forgive my rusty english.)
I am travelling from Norway to Bilbao the 19th of May. We arrive about 17.00 in Bilbao, and my conserne is wheter we will reach the pilgrime-mass in Roncevalles at 20.00. How is the easiset and fastest way to get from Bilbao to RV ? I also read somewhere that the albergue in RV closes early. Will it be difficult to get a place to stay there if we get there late ?
My last question (for now) is regarding sleeping-bag. I see that this topic has been discussed before, but I am still in doubt whether to bring my light sleeping bag, or if it will be good enough to bring a thin silk sheet-bag (is that a proper word? ) to sleep in.
I would also like to get in contact with fellow travellers to meet up with and join when I will continue and walk the rest of the Camino in September. I am not sure how far I will get this first trip, but I guess about Logroño. Then I will start there about the 3rd of September, and walk to Santiago.
