Too many to count!
There has been a lot of requests for information recently on the best way to cross over from the Coastal to the Central on the Camino Portugues. I just stumbled on new information, from Caminiha if your intent is to cross over from there. There is a water taxi service, called Taxi Boat Peregrinos that will now take you by boat all the way from Caminha to Tui! Yes indeed! The cost is 30 Euros. You can reserve ahead online, or call their number listed on the webpage. They also will do the short water taxi from Caminha to A Guarda, just across the river, if you are staying on the Coastal route.

This water taxi service can be found along the Senda Litoral, close to the Praia Foz de Minho, or by the beach at the mouth of the river, a ways from the center of Caminha. It is not at the old ferry terminal in the center of town, like the Xacobeo Transfer, which will also take you across the river. The Xacobeo Transfer does not advertise that it will take you to Tui.

Not sure if "Mario the Fisherman" still does crossings, or if his service has morphed into one these two available water taxis.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Will they also take you from Tui to Caminha?
That's a good question! There's no indication of that service on their website. However, I wouldn't know why not, since there would be two ways involved, regardless of which port you pick up the passengers. A call to them would answer the question.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I believe that the water taxi service a couple of kilometres west of Caminha that used to be run by Mario is now run by his brother Marco. At least that was the situation when I did the Portugues Littoral/Coastal late last October.

Perfect! It seemed most likely!
