Hello Peregrinos & Peregrinas... I'm outbound StJPP via first stop Valcarlos on Monday 28th March 2022. Just another African far from home ha ha. Camino veteran/addict, some great, some exceptional, all good! Taking it slow for first week or so, then crank it up. Loads of rest days in the nice spots, fully embracing the freedom of own-time... Watch for the Blue & Grey Pack (or the yellow raincover) and the navy rainpants with turqoise Arcteryx rain jacket, lumo blue Salomon shoes... and that's me. I stop a lot and buy lots of cafe/cerveza for walking buds so as we pass say "Hola"... BTW... am putting together a rideshare Pamplona to StJPP 27/3 circa 13h25 for those incoming IB flight from Madrid... message me...

Glad to read your happy news. This week will go quickly and soon you will be in Spain.
Don't forget to double check that you have all your necessities such as national passport, credit cards and tickets before you leave home. Everything else, if need be, you can buy in Spain.

I am starting on the 26th (this Saturday) and though I am Welsh I am half Irish ..so may see some of you en route to catch up on the news and have a beer as the sunsets . You cannot miss me , I be wearing my aussie hat.

Mmm. It's the Irish half that gets his buddies locked out of albergues after lights out on April nights! I may catch you as extending early stages beyond the usual. Resting in Pamplona nights of 31 & 1. If you still there, message. Buen Camino...
