Did I just think of a brilliant way to never lose my walking poles again?

Sacha

Peregrina
Time of past OR future Camino
05/24 C. Portugues
09/25 CF Ponferrada - Fisterra
As I was printing out two stickers with my name and phone number to stick onto my poles I see my keys lying next to them.. with an Airtag. đź’ˇ!

I’m sure I am not the only one who constantly forgets her poles… right? LOL

Never again! Well atleast I’ll get a reminder from my phone 100 meters away from my poles now.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
That is pretty good - but check the airtag periodically - they do fall out of their holders. I have them fall out of a variety of airtag holders. You could also skip the heavier keychain and secure them with duct tape if you wanted to to keep them attached longer.

I’ve had mine for a year and never fell out. I got the leather version, maybe its different?

Love my my airtag! Has saved me a couple times when my keys mysteriously vanished…. (My little gremlins love to hide my things lol)

I used an AirTag on my poles this year - on the Camino Portugués. Only left them behind once, but could see exACTly where they were & retrieved them right away! No more guessing, “where did I leave them?!?” Worked like a charm 👍👍👍

Thank you!
I lost mine some years ago in a bar and I was very attached to them. I’m just trying to decide on a pair of small folding ones that collapse to 16” which can go in my rucksack and as they are expensive, I’ll follow your suggestion and put an AirTag on the wrist band.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
