Are you able to receive the Compostelle if you hike from Le Puy to Roncesvalles? We have already hiked from St. Jean to Santiago in 2013 so we are hiking the French route in May 2015 and taking the train on into Santiago from Roncesvalles. Thank you.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Is there a train station in Roncesvalles?
I don't think that there is a railway there. I think the nearest line is at Pamplona.
Can someone confirm this please?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Roncesvalles could hardly be called a village and doesn't have train station. Nearest is in Pamplona. Next nearest railway knot is in San Sebastian (Irun) or Hendaye (already in France).

To receive a Compostelle you must walk the last 100 km to Santiago (or bike 200 km). It must be the last 100 km. The distances before this do not count toward this qualification. Period.
The normal 100 km starting point on the Camino Frances is Sarria. Other caminos have similar starting points.

No Train station but a good bus service that follows the main road to either St Jean or westward through Spain. Timetable varies with the time of year

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
