I met a young man in Arzua a couple of years ago who had started from Pamplona. He had a proper 'touring' chair and his wife was seconding him from a campervan. They often parked next to the albergues so that they could use the showers and cooking facilities but would sleep in the van at night. I'm not sure where you would make contact with a wheelchair pilgrim but a couple helped to prepare the guide for people with disabilities on this website: http://www.ibermutuamur.es/camino_santi ... nicial.htm
In 2002 he went off again, this time to Rome, 2250 km: http://www.adhermans.nl/index.html
He was accompanied by his wife, her sister and brother-in-law, and a couple friends, all on bicycles. On their way they camped.

I am currently walking the Camino Frances with my parents and am enjoying every moment. I brought some euros with me and loaded money onto a cash passport as I thought this would be safe...
I am wondering how you disconnect, in part, from the world. I have a couple of reasons that I need to be accessible but, I don't want to be constantly connected on this journey. Ideas?
Hello,
I have reserved a night in an Albergue and the confirmation says Fecha de entrada: 2024-06-05. In the UK we would write this as 05-06-2024, is that what this means, 5th June 2024, I am...
