Should we fly to Lisbon? Madrid? We will be starting our actual walk in Tui and only doing the last 100 + km.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Where you are flying from would help answer your question.

Santiago or Vigo are closer to Tui than either capital but your originating flight is the cruncher.

Happy planning

We are flying from the US, part of our group from Cincinnati,Ohio and part from Houston, Texas.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Tincatinker is right but about Santiago and Vigo being the closest airports but flying from Cincinnati or Houston would be travel torture. Look at Rome2Rio for possible routes. As a recent transplant to Cincinnati, I would suggest your group organize a RDV at a "major" international airport like Newark, Kennedy of Miami and use a Spanish carrier to Porto. You could get to Tui from Porto by bus and return to Porto by bus from Santiago.

Fly to Madrid, and from there fly to Porto (multiple flights and carriers daily) and then perhaps bus to Tui?
You can book your flight from Madrid to Porto separately...not same ticket. Just allow at least two hours layover.

Welcome to the Forum, @Momwiz !

Good advice above. You might also want to look into Aer Lingus. They have flights to Dublin from several points in the US, and then from Dublin there are direct flights to Santiago. From Santiago you can take a short and easy train to Tui.
