Hello All: Can anyone tell me if the information for the Camino del Norte on the Eroski Consumer website is fairly recent? It has some information that is not included in my guide, and I'd like to add it. (I'm studying the Editorial Buen Camino Guía practica del Camino del Norte at the moment.) I did not notice any date reference for the Eroski site. Many thanks in advance to any who can help.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Hola Pong - I used Eroski in September and October last year and found the information useful and mostly up to date. Especially for Albergues - the reviews are dated so you see how old they are which was really good. I also used Gronzi, the Wise Pilgrim and Buen Camino apps to compare information which was helpful as sometimes one app will list something (eg. new Albergue or a route variation) when another doesn't. The Del Norte is a wonderful way - Buen Camino!

Thanks for your response. I'm jotting down items of interest to me into my Guía where they are not already noted. I will check out the other resources you cited. Also, I'll be traveling with a German pilgrim and she has her own guidebook. I've heard the German guide is Seher gut, so we should be set.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

No problem - that's great you have access to the German guide book as it's definitely Seher gut! We made friends with a few people and borrowed their books when we could - we found the maps and notes on route variation especially helpful. Having your friend to translate will be very handy!

Elevation map shows this is really steep! What’s the best way from downtown Hondarribia up there? Then wish me luck on the Purgatorio—I am a nervous wreck.
My group of six arrives in Irun on May 20 and we're starting our Camino on May 21. Since it's the beginning of the busy season, I'm wondering if we should order trekking poles from Amazon Espana...
