Drog1,

You might take a taxi from Estella to Alsasua, then train to Hendaye via RENFE (for times see >> http://www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/horarios.html ), then train to Biarritz via SNCF (for times see >> http://www.voyages-sncf.com/ )and bus to Biarritz airport.

Good luck and Buen Camino,

Margaret Meredith

See if you can get a train to San Sebastián. Then there's a lovely bus ride across the border to Bayonne/Biarritz.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Hi Drog1
We also finished our (10-day)walk in Estella beginning of June. Got bus from bus station in Estella @ 10:45 on the Saturday morning to San Sebastian (La Estellesa bus company). Had about 2 hours free in San Sebastian and then got bus from there (Transportes PESA) to Biarritz, arriving in Biarritz around 4/4:30pm - lots of time to make your 9pm flight!

Thanks all for great tips. Our flights have been changed and we now departing biarritz at much earlier time of 14.30 . Will have to research our journey back all over again :D
