Plan to walk 8/(19)
My husband, siste, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren - 17, 15 &
14, are planning to walk in August, 2019, from Tui to Santiago. We would appreciate any tips, especially accommodations. Thanks

Was there anything specific you wanted tips on?
Otherwise people won't be quite sure what you need to find out amongst all the commonly asked questions.....

Where should we stay
do we need sleeping bags
best footwear
best pack
do we need poles
what happens in an albergue
can we get luggage transported
where do we get our pilgrim passport stamped
is the walk hard
do i need a poncho
what do i sleep in
do they supply towels
how many changes of clothes should I bring
is it safe
how much should we budget
etc etc

A wonderful camino awaits you! Apart from the list above, if you search this forum, you will find threads, and links to blogs on the Portuguese camino that will point you in the right direction. Good luck, bom caminho!
 
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Recommend you go to the Resource section for the Camino Portuguese. The segment from Tui into Santiago is the final leg, if you will.
