Been there, done that. Keep coming back.
Most likely addicted.
Saw quite a few of these girls, approaching Orisson, one late August

I wonder what made all those snails climb the lamp post. Drought? Temperature? Mating behaviour?

I saw these kittens on the road between Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Belorado. They seemed entertained by the passing pilgrims.

This German Shepherd completely loose, between Finisterra and Muxia, walked with me for 2 km, and then disappeared as quickly as it appeared

I have a few contenders for this thread, but I'll go with this one from Mansilla de las Mulas on the CF.

Here's what I wrote as a caption at the time:

The last thing I ever thought I'd post on the Camino is a cat photo, but the Camino does strange things to you. After eight days of walking through virtually nothing but wheat fields on the Meseta, we arrived at the city walls of Mansilla de las Mulas today to find what else but wild wheat stalks growing in the shadow of the crumbling fortifications. When I went back later to photograph it, this little critter was in my way.

From my first solo walk in 2011. This is in San Anton. I spent easily 40 minutes snapping photos of the birds as they flew and hovered the window, before finally getting it. Never thought that in a few years I'd be the hospitalera there!

This beautiful butterfly was on the trail going down towards Acebo. Thanks so much to Anne Sophie from Danmark with the heavenly singing voice, who pointed it out to me.
