February Weather - Coldest Day?

Hello! I am now less than two weeks from walking part of the Portuguese way (coastal), and still not sure what to pack based on current weather. Is it just me, or is it warmer than a ‘normal’ winter right now? For the colder days, or colder parts of the day, I think I can layer leggings with hiking pants and a t shirt with merino mid-layer and light jacket. But looking at current temps in towns along the way (highs in 60’s F), that will be too warm. Do I need shorts? Would appreciate any suggestions for updating packing list based on weather forecast and current weather trends!

For sure it is way warmer than it should be atm. However, this weekend NW Spain will have snow down to 900mtrs and 130kmph winds in places. Perhaps not so bad further down on the CP, but evidence no less of the unpredictability atm. You are best leaving it as late as possible to get a better idea of what it will be like when you go, and what you need to pack at this time of year.

I am familiar with the area bc my partner’s family is from there. I don’t think you’ll need shorts, maybe capris if you easily get hot. You walk next to the ocean so it’s a bit more windy. Good luck. I’ll be there end of month….buen camino.
