Camino Finisterre and Camino Muxia - June 2013
I am finishing my journey to SDC late October 2012 and would like to extend it witha trip to the coast.
But I am not sure whether Ishould go to Finisterre or Muxia. What is the differences between the two towns.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I finished by Camino on June 28th last summer. After a couple of days in Santiago I took the bus to Finnisterre for four days. I loved Finnisterre. It was a great way to unwind after walking from SJPP to Santiago. The village itself is interesting and there are two beaches there that were great.

Hi Kennedy,

We have walked both .
After we finished Francis in 08 we adored the walk to Finasterre . We left after only the one day in Santiago and then returned by bus for 3 days relaxing and seeing the city "away" from the square. Its a lovely town Santiago .
We walked Le Puy [09] Portuguese [10] and this year walked the Norte.
We headed to Dumbria after Hospital and then Muxia and these days were beautiful. We found fewer pilgrims continued to Muxia and the scenery was stunning.
Muxia is a lovely place to relax and we found that 70 - 80% of the pilgrims in Muxia after a day or twos rest walked the extra day to Finasterre .
The Spanish pilgrims we have met over the years view Muxia as the final / spiritual destination.
We would recommend the walk to Muxia and then Finasterre to every pilgrim.

You will have a wonderful time and go with the flow mate, especially in October. The crowds will be gone.
Best wishes , David

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Thanks for all the suggestions. If time permits I think I will walk to Muxia and then on to Finisterre
and then get a bus back to SDC. If I am pressed for time I will walk to Finisterre and then bus back to SDC.
