1st Global Conference in Galicia of Friends of the Camino de Santiago Associations
4-6 June, 2015
To celebrate the 800th anniversary of the pilgrimage of St. Francis of Assisi to Compostela, Turismo de Galicia is organizing the 1st Global Conference in Galicia of Friends of the Camino de Santiago Associations. The event will be held in Santiago on 4, 5 and 6 June 2015. Turismo de Galicia would like to invite all Friends of the Camino de Santiago associations to participate in this gathering, acknowledging the great work they do in disseminating information about the phenomenon of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Their intensive work promotes all aspects of the Way of St. James, resulting in a steady increase in the number of pilgrims who travel the route to Santiago each year.
