Just finished watching all the episodes of this Vlog on the Camino on YouTube by a guy named Efren. Spring 2018. About 10 min per episode which is one day on the Camino. I found it entertaining and interesting with some great drone footage along the way.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!

Yes, Efren Gonzalez produces a series of excellent vlogs. The one you refer to is my favourite. Last year he walked the Via Francigena, which he uploaded as a series of " my day in a minute" short videos. This year he's been on the Camino Portugues and Camino del Norte. He says he'll be working on editing all his latest stuff to upload to YouTube bit by bit. I subscribe to his YouTube channel, so I am a fan of his style.
There are a huge selection of YouTube vlogs, something for all tastes really. But none can fully prepare you for the full experience. They do provide some great insight and often useful information, although some of it can quickly become out of date.
However, I guess there would be something to be said in favour of starting the Camino without too much information in advance. It could take away some of the surprise and adventure once you know what's coming.

He is in the process of reposting them - edited down to a minute per day, for those who have shorter attention spans.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Is he keeping the originals up too?
It seems so. The longer original vlogs are in a playlist "Camino Frances | Full Vlog". The new one minute versions are in a new playlist "Camino Frances | Daily Updates". I believe it is patterned on his Via Francigena Daily Updates: "Here was my day in a minute and it only took a minute of your day."

He's done the Portuguese Way in March or April. I asked if he's editing it the long style ones like he did originally and said he is so that's good.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
He started a day before me and I never met him but there are a couple people in his videos for short clips that I spent time with. Besides the quality and fun of his videos I also have a connection because though I wasn't in the video it almost felt like I could rewatch a lot of my camino after I got home and he released them.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
