Hi!
I`m Eija from Finland and I will fly to Biarritz in 20.6 and then start my first camino, hoping to walk all the way to Santiago. I will have my 50 years birthday in appr middle of the road, so this is a big birthday-walk! I am a mother for seven children (11-24 years now) so I will really enjoy having time only for myself!
Hoping to meet many interesting persons along the way. : )

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Congratulations for your decision! You will meet many interesting people on your Camino, with whom to pass the "time for yourself" Between overnight stops you'll appreciate being away from your children and enjoy the walking, but you'll be glad to return home with new energy after you arrived in SdC.
Happy birthday and .....many happy returns :!:

Welcome to the forum and buen camino! Always nice to see finnish pilgrims here. Enjoy your own time - my children are so young, that I have to wait a couple of years until I´m able to do it again. I´m sure you´ll meet wonderful persons with whom to spend your anniversary :D

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hello Eija - You will be walking in the footsteps of the 287 pilgrims from Finland who have received the Compostela so far this year!!
Have a wonderful pilgrimage.

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
