Camino francés (from SJPP): 2015
Hey there.

I was planning to purchase John Brierly's book (A Pilgrim's Guide to the Camino de Santiago) but I wanted to buy it as an ebook. I guess he does not have it in ebook format.

So I was wondering if there is another book people can recommend in ebook format.

Thanks.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Has the tablet version been released yet? I saw these comments on the website (see below), want to be sure that it will work fine with an iPad.

Thanks.

Hi Trevor, if you choose the 'iphone only' option in the app store you will find it, however the app is optimized for smartphones. We are planning to make a tablet version in future.

John Brierley's book is used in the ecamino app:

Hi, do you mean the John Brierley ecamino app for Android devices? You should be able to find it in the Play Store. Search for:
eCamino
eCamino Ltd.
By the way, I installed it because I love John Brierley's maps in his paperback book, but they are not in the app (unless I just haven't found them). The app uses the GPS on your device for maps. Jill

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

@jsalt found the problem. I was looking for ecamino, not eCamino. The capital actually knocked it out from showing up. What a crazy thing from a marketing point of view. I found it now. Thanks

We used Gerald Kelly's Walking Guide to the Camino de Santiago in a Kindle edition (using the Kindle app on our phones) and it was great. Everything we needed. We used the 2012 edition when we walked in 2013; I don't know if it has been updated. I plan to us it again in 2016 if there is an update. It was a really great resource.

The caminoguide.net in PDF is nice to have, there are points of interest that the Brierley guide doesn't have.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

+1 on the Kelly (although I scanned and uploaded as .pdf both Brierley and Dinteman & Landis (sic?) to my Kindle). But Kelly was what I really used--the others were just for background reading in the albuergue the night before walking that section.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
