My friend Kari and I from Medicine Hat, Alberta will be walking from SJPP on May 29. It has been a year of planning and now reality is settling in. We've been doing alot of walking and hoping for the best. Hope to meet up with a lot of friendly faces.
Best wishes to a fellow Canadian pilgrim. I walked 600 km of the Camino Frances last September and it was the best thing that I have every done with my life (other than getting together with my partner). I had just turned 60 and was not in that good shape, the uphill climbs were challenging but I would walk again in a minute. I am thinking of doing it again for my 65th birthday if not sooner.
I am sure that you will meet so many wonderful people and have a great adventure. Go with the flow each day and enjoy the rhythm of the Way. Enjoy the experience and what an experience it will be.
Greetings to all.
