Hello. I’m currently on my way to VilaNova Rouca and would love to stay at the convent in Herbon. Could anyone please guide me on how to book a night or check their availability. Muchas gracias 🙏

Check out their Gronze entry. However they do not take reservations.

The Herbon Monastry does not take bookings. It opens at 4pm but when I was there in September, people were lining up from late morning. I arrived at 11am and was 5th in line, pilgrims continued to arrive pretty consistently. My guide book stated it had beds for 20 but a sign on the door stated 30. I think there ended up being 28 of us the night I stayed. It is well worth the effort to get there and definitely do the tour of the grounds and pilgrims Mass before dinner.
