Hey everyone!

First of all a big Thank You for this great forum. Reading it gave me so many valuable hints and makes me even more excited about packing my bags and leaving rainy England for sunny Spain.

I am going to start my Camino this August in Santander taking a bus to Burgos and starting to walk from there. Walking the Camino was something I wanted to do for quite a while and this year seems perfect for it. Last year completely unrelated to each other I made friends with a couple that met on the Camino, got given a book about the Camino and the chances to take free Spanish lessons. I guess the final drop was when my best friend called me telling me that she read in my year horoscope (I dont believe in it but its stil quite a coincidence) that 2011 is the perfect year for a pilgrimage!

By now all my flights are booked - flying from London via Germany to Santander and back home from Porto. Ive even got a little box where I collect useful things for the Camino.

Anyone thinking about being in Burgos around the 7th of august?

At the bottom right, you will find the Pilgrim Calendar where you can again find fellow peregrinos on the Camino and list your itinerary.
