Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Greetings Paul!

From personal experience on the Portuguese...get the rain gear!! No, seriously do have it but I'll be praying you don't need it like we did in 08! My feet still get wrinkled and cold looking just thinking about it.

Don't miss the church in Padron with the anchor stone from the Saints boat! and the fab bridges in Pontevedre. Keep posting..for those of us at home!

Hi Karin,

Day one taking it slowly this time, where is the best place to post which section?

Weather looks good and now I have rain gear... the person at the Info booth hear in Parque das Nacoes said a car ran into some night walkers along the road not sure if they were on the way or not, his message was clear take care, the way runs close along the road for the next few days.

Keep posting..for those of us at home!

Hi Paul

You could start a new topic under ["Live" from the Camino] category, and just continue to reply to yourself.

Look forward to hearing from you, and yes, do be careful if you are walking after dark. There had been some discussions on this subject on this forum. Generally not adviced unless absolutely necessary, and even then, make sure you have sufficient light, including one hanging from your pack so that you can be visible to some extent by the traffic from the back. I must say it sounds like a scary sight to just see a light bobbing about LOL.

Buen camino
