Walking the Camino Frances August 29 2018!!
Hi Camino friends,
I'm planning on returning to the Camino for 5 days and will be starting my walk in Astorga. I really don't want to pre-book anywhere to stay as I don't want to plan anything on my walk as I was injured last year on the Camino and want to go where my legs take me. I understand that it's fairly busy at that time of year. Will I be able to find places to stay without making any bookings?

You will have some difficulty. You may have to walk around towns to find a place.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
You might try booking just one day ahead. You’ll probably have a good idea of how far you can walk on a day by day basis.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Thanks very much. I'm so excited - I can't wait to get back to the Camino!!

I was there during that time last year... coming out of of Astorga, I played it by ear, walked further than I planed originally, all the way to Acebo, and did not have trouble finding a bed. I did the same thing the next day and walked passed Poneferrada, my designated stopping point, and winged it to Villafranca de Bierzo; I didn't reserve, arrived late in the afternoon, and found a nice room without complication. It was a busy summer, but the camino seems to always provide.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Thanks so much for your help. That's my thinking too - gotta love the Camino - I can't wait to go back!!
