LIVE from the Camino Hot in pamplona

Arrived in Pamplona today from Zubiri. Day one st jean to orisson. Day two orisson to roncesvalles. Day three to Zubiri and day 4 to Pamplona. We have had strong winds in the mountains and hot heat for last two days. Can't stress enough how good a change of socks half way through the day really is. Forecast for next three days is 30C. It's busy on the Camino but just loving it.

Yikes....I am arriving in a few days from winter....a mild winter nevertheless...but winter.....my fluorescent white body is going to be in for a shock!!

Yay! Coming from Thailand I love the heat... was worried I'd have to deal with cold. Leaving in one month from today. Bring on the heat! Training now in 36C temp.

The coldest temperature I've had in Thailand in 4 years, was at night during Monsoon season... and a flood... 23C! Not counting air-con of course.

In Borgos now on a rest day, day 12 of our Camino Frances from SJPdP

A light UV protective long sleeve shirt has worked almost every day- Either under my fleece and rain gear bundled up.
-Or over a light Tee shirt open to the breeze but protecting me from sun.

All weather is good when you feel prepared.
