Hi Dan,
I see that, like me, it is your first camino! Cool! I am slowly getting ready - have bought most of the big ticket items e.g. boots, backpack, poles, sleeping bag, raincoat, etc. Spring is struggling to arrive here so will be getting out on a daily basis soon to test and give my material a good wear before I go. Will be receiving my credential on April 18 during a Coup d'envoi here in the Outaouais for those walking the camino this year... I am really looking forward to this trip! When do you begin in August?

I can actually leave anytime from July 28 onwards. i hope to leave Toronto by August 4 or 5 at the latest, you?
