When I completed the Camino Frances in 2015 I said I wouldn’t do it again, then when I finished the Camino Portugues from Lisbon in November 2017 I said the same thing. Now I’m looking forward to starting from Le Puy to SJPDP in September tis year.

Yep, that's how it works! I'm preparing for my fourth Camino since 2015 and I thought I was going to be "one and done"!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The only downside for me of Caminos every consecutive summer is putting off my plans of trips to the other continents. :)

I'm afraid this is what happens to some of us...Camino Frances aged 51. I am now 62. 11 years have gone by, 9 years of which I succumbed to the call of the way....
Le Puy route x 2 and first week of it 3rd time. 1/2 Austrian route, Czech Republic, Via Regia, Swiss route, Via Gebennensis x2, Robert Louis Stevenson, Porto to Santiago and Muxia, Via Baltica and on to Via Scandinavica.
2018 Madrid and Salvador.
In September I took an aberrational impromptu trip to Vietnam and realised how this just was no longer the kind of travel I want to do...even though I travelled solo I felt like a tourist and was exhausted by the end of it. Also budget wise I ended up spending way more than I would on my caminos...even though at first glance it seemed cheap.

It’s called madness. Best health farm in world. I done my first Camino in 2010 sjpdp to logrono. Hated it and could not get to Bilbao fast enough and home but was back in sept and finished in Santiago. 14 caminos later or 2 per year I passed 10,000 km last year 2017. Already booked flights for Norte for April 2018. Burn Camino. Ps. My doctor rings me regularly to check if I am still alive. I am only 67 yrs old and will commence my Norte Camino on my 68 birthday. My 3rd Norte
