Hello everyone,
My name is Sarah Lohman, and I am from Cleveland, Ohio, The United States of America.
I plan on walking the Camino in September/October with a friend, starting either in St. Jean or in Lourdes (a personal attachment to the latter).
I had heard of the pilgrimage sometime in highschool, and in college had a proffessor who taught about pilgrimages, and Santiago specifically, with such a passion that it ignited something in me. My school, the Cleveland Institute of Art, gives away post graduate traveling scholarships to a few very lucky graduates. I was fortunate enough to recieve one, and knew exactly what I was going to use it for.
I am amazed and delighted by the variety of people posting on this board. I can't tell you how excited, and perhaps a little frightened I am to be taking this trip.
Looking forward to communicating with you more in the future
Sincerely,
Sarah
