June 14...Starting in Ponferrada. Anyone else there around that time?

I'm doing this for my first time and ALONE. I'm already practicing and have backpacked with my full backpack for 6 miles without feeling too tired. I just haven't had time to hike longer. I'm only planning on 10 miles a day more if I can but I'm not pushing myself. I'm so excited about really enjoying everything I can, immersing myself into the culture and making connections with new Camino friends.

I will be flying into Madrid on the 11th but staying there till 13th to sightsee.

Taking a train to Ponferrada on the 13th and starting the Camino on the 14th.

Anyone else?

Hi Bell, not me sorry i'm 2 day's away from Santiago. But you are not alone and as SY stated sometimes you will wish you are. Wish you a Buen Camino, Peter.

If all goes as planned, I should be leaving Ponferrada the morning of the 14th, but you never know... I also am planning on a easy, blister and pain free camino if you want to PM me with your email address, I can send you an email update of where I am as I get closer. I start 26 May out of Pamplona.
