Welcome to the forum, @jhamsuy . If you are walking in October starting in the Pyrenees you might very well need good rain gear and a few warm layers as well.:D:D:D A lot of folks on this forum recommend Frogs Toggs rain gear because it is reasonably priced and reliable.
Wishing you both a very buen camino.

When you stick around here long enough you will discover that there are a number of good choices for rain gear each with advantages and disadvantages, but no one perfect option. So, a key is learning to feel confident and comfortable with the choice that you make. Everyone will have a different experience. ¡Buen Camino! ¡Bienvenido!
