LA/SF to SJPDP?

In 2010 my daughter and I walked the last leg of the Frances, Sarria to Fisterra. We flew from LA to A Coruna, then caught a train to Sarria. We want to walk the Frances again this summer, this time from SJPDP to Fisterra/Muxia. Any suggestions re: easiest & least expensive way to get from LA or SF to SJPDP? Especially helpful to hear from Californians who have done this & know the ropes. Thanks for any help!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I am not from California but as I have been asked this question by people from LA I thought I would answer it for you.
There is no easy, direct way to St Jean. Getting there always involves two trains or a train and a bus.
You could fly to Paris and then get a train to Biarritz and another to St Jean.
It seems that it is cheaper to fly to Madrid from LA and then get a bus to Pamplona from the Airport. Once in Pamplona you can either get a shuttle-taxi to St jean or wait for the 6pm bus to Roncesvalles and then share a taxi to St Jean.
Check the cheap airlines for a flight back to Paris (or Madrid) for your return journey.

Didn't you ask this same question on the APOC FB page? :)

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Ha! aka American Pilgrims on the Camino (APOC) :)

This same question was asked there and has gotten the same responses, so I was just curious if it was the same person looking for different answers. :)
