Lack of accommodation in Santarém next week.

Please note that due to the National Agriculture Fair from 8 to 16 June private accommodation such as Hotels, Hostels and others should not be available.
Only the Santa Casa da Mesericordia Abergue should have beds available for pilgrims.
However, this Albergue, is closed on weekends and holidays, ie on days 8, 9, 10, 15 and 16 June.
I advise you to try to book a bed in advance by phone (+351) 243 305 260
If you can not book in advance in any type of accommodation, my advice is, do not walk to Santarém.
Take a train or bus to Santarem and walk towards Golegã the next stage.
